Andrea Meyers has been making photos of her travels for over 20 years. She spent 8 years teaching abroad in the Pacific, South America, and the Middle East and recorded the memories of all the places she lived and visited on film. Now she has combined her passion for making memorable images with her passion for food, from field to plate. As an experienced recipe developer and cookbook contributor, Andrea has an eye for capturing the beauty in food and brings an essense of casual refinement to her art. She seeks out food at its source to promote the work of food producers, and her mission resulted in a unique series of photo essays, “The Farm Project,” showcasing Northern Virginia farms throughout the seasons.
